Harmanpreet Kaur: India’s Star All-Rounder Shaping Women’s Cricket
Harmanpreet Kaur, born on 8 March 1989 in Moga, Punjab, is one of India’s premier women cricketers. An explosive right-handed batter and handy off-break bowler, she has represented India across all formats since 2009. As the current captain of the Indian Women’s National Team, Harmanpreet has led from the front, achieving milestones such as scoring India’s first T20I century and being named one of Wisden’s Five Cricketers of the Year in 2023. An Arjuna Award recipient, she has also made waves internationally, playing for Sydney Thunder in the WBBL. Known for her fearless style and leadership, Harmanpreet continues to inspire the next generation of cricketers.
